US pay-TV losses slow to 305,000 in Q1

Thursday 17 May 2018 | 16:02 CET | News
Net pay-TV losses for the US slowed in the first quarter to 305,000 video subscribers, from a loss the year before (pro forma) of 515,000, according to the latest study from the Leichtman Research Group. The slowdown came from gains at internet-delivered services and from much less leavers at the top telephone providers. The latter lost about 50,000 video subscribers in the quarter, against 325,000 the year earlier.
