US says Marvell takeover of Cavium presents no national security concerns

After reviewing Marvell's USD 6 billion bid for Cavium, the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) has determined that the merger presents no unresolved national security concerns. The deal is still subject to a few more closing conditions, including regulatory approval from China's State Administration for Market Regulation.
