US streaming services on par with TV - study

Streaming services penetration is now on par with TV, according to research by multi-screen TV technology provider Clearleap. Over 78 percent of people surveyed said they currently subscribe to cable and over 71 percent said they had used a streaming service. Millennials are leading the OTT revolution with 70.32 percent of 18-29 year-olds using a streaming service and 64.41 percent have cable TV. Over a quarter of respondents in this age group have never subscribed to cable. Clearleap also found that most streaming TV users would be willing to pay slightly more to receive preferred content,
