The US Supreme Court has ruled that the Roswell suburb of Atlanta did not explain well its decision to deny T-Mobile USA's cellphone tower application, CNBC reported. In a 6-3 ruling, the court decided that local governments like Roswell, Georgia are required by the federal Telecommunications Act to provide a timely written explanation for rejecting a request. The town did provide an explanation but only 26 days after the denial. The incident took place in 2010.
