Use Telecom upgrades network linking Bahia and Sergipe in Brazil

Use Telecom has upgraded its network linking the states of Bahia and Sergipe so that it can become a neutral network, too, announced CEO Andre Costa, reports Telesintese. The Brazilian regional operator has 2,800 km of fibre optics and is present in 48 cities in the two states, including the two capitals, Salvador and Aracaju, and in the main regions of the states served. Nokia is the equipment supplier and the operator uses GPON technology from end to end.
