UTRC invests EUR 1.5 mln in UCC's data analytics lab

US-based United Technologies Research Center (UTRC) announced an investment of EUR 0.5 million in cash and EUR 1 million in in-kind contribution in Ireland's Insight Centre for Data Analytics at University College Cork (UCC). The research conducted at the Insight Centre as a result of this investment will focus on four key areas, namely artificial intelligence, data analytics and machine learning, human machine interaction, and optimisation in collaboration with United Technologies Research Center staff.
