Uzbekistan to deploy new trans-border internet links

Uzbekistan plans to launch new trans-border internet links, reports Trend citing Olimzhon Umarov, the deputy minister in the Ministry of ITC Development. The links are expected to quadruple internet speeds and to reduce the rates of internet services. Umarov believe the high prices come from lack of competition.
