Vast Networks to shut down

South African Wi-Fi network provider Vast Networks will be shut down after year of seeking a buyer, a spokesperson for its board of directors has told MyBroadband. Dimension Data and Naspers have decided to pull the plug, it said. Industry sources had already told MyBroadband that staff had received letters informing them the operator would shut down this week.
