Vaunet calls to reform structure and mission of public service broadcasters

Moreover, Vaunet supports a plan to reinforce the content profile of public broadcasters, in order to differentiate themselves from the offer of private broadcasters. ARD, ZDF and Deutschlandradio could use 75 percent of their budget to offer information, culture and education programmes, the association said. Vaunet continues to work to limit advertising and sponsorship in programmes.
