Velcom upgrades mobile app

Belarusian mobile operator Velcom has upgraded its mobile application 'Velcom Recommends', adding the 'Roaming Assistant' function. The function has facilitated management of services from the operator when roaming. The application can be used by subscribers with mobile devices powered by Android and iOS and downloading the application under the coverage of the Velcom network, before traveling abroad.

The new option will enable to activate roaming services and special packages, to get information of rates of services from foreign operators being under the coverage of any Wi-Fi network. 

Users of Android-based smartphones will also be able to control a handset balance over the application.
