Ventocom wants to fill gap for new mobile network provider

Some 1.8 million customers are ready to change their mobile network provider within the next six months because of price increases, according to the study 'Austria is ready for new mobile network providers' conducted by the virtual network Ventocom, Der Standard reports. About 78 percent of the interviewees could imagine changing to a provider with a SIM-only option. The head of Ventocom, Michael Krammer, current president of Rapid Wien and former CEO of tele.ring, e-Plus and Orange, will launch the new mobile network in cooperation with discount supermarket chain Hofer next year.
