Veon plans to discontinue investment in Veon Digital Platform, hold talks with staff representatives

The Veon group said that in light of changing business priorities, it is proposing to discontinue investment in the Veon Digital Platform and is currently consulting with employee representatives on the likely impact of this proposal. No final decision on the matter has yet been taken. Veon said it remains committed to providing digital services to its 210 million customers in ten countries.
