Verdi, Telekom conclude wage negotiations with 5.2% pay increase

Friday 13 April 2018 | 13:23 CET | News
Deutsche Telekom and German service union Verdi have come to an agreement in their ongoing wage dispute that nonetheless falls short of the wage increases originally demanded by Verdi, reported German business publication WirtschaftsWoche (WiWo). Verdi said it won wage increases of 5.2 percent spread over two steps for "the majority" of Telekom's employees, while employees in a different pay category will see their wages increase by 4.8 percent over two steps. Both tariff agreements are valid through 31 March 2020, said Verdi.
