Verizon adds Alibaba Cloud to cloud interconnect ecosystem

Verizon expanded its Secure Cloud Interconnect platform to allow its customers to privately connect to Alibaba Cloud. Verizon's customers can now benefit from a direct connection using MultiProtocol Label Switching (MPLS) to Alibaba Cloud. The addition of Alibaba Cloud in Singapore and Hong Kong brings the number of cloud service providers accessible from Verizon Secure Cloud Interconnect to 10, covering over 72 locations globally. Verizon manages over 500,000 network, hosting, and security devices and 4,000+ networks in over 150 countries.
