Verizon, AT&T maintain dominance in US mobile market

Verizon Wireless and AT&T continue to dominate the US mobile market, while T-Mobile US is narrowing the gap with number three Sprint, according to the latest figures from the FCC. In the first half of 2015, Verizon accounted for 38.1 percent of service revenues and AT&T took 32.6 percent, both little changed from the previous year. Sprint's share fell to 14.1 percent, while T-Mobile grew to 13.2 percent. The market share figures are part of the FCC's annual report on the state of competition in the mobile market.
