Verizon distributes VR viewers for Star Wars video app

Verizon is distributing Star Wars themed Google Cardboard virtual reality (VR) viewers at select stores around the US ahead of the 18 December premiere of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." The viewers allow fans to experience the video content series "Awaken the Force Within", a set of nine VR missions found on the official Star Wars app. The collaboration with Google is an extension of Verizon's "Force of a Better Network" programme, which provides fans with insider access to the latest Star Wars film's content. Verizon is also an official partner of the film.
