Verizon Netherlands reports revenues of EUR 143.2 million for 2016, 5.7 percent less than in 2015. The decrease is caused by lower revenues from network services and the strategic decision to leave the wholesale voice market, according to Verizon Netherlands annual report for 2016, which was recently deposited at the Dutch Chamber of Commerce. Verizon’s Dutch EBITDA dropped by 8.2 percent during 2016 to EUR 26.4 million and in the same period the net profit decreased by more than 20 percent to EUR 9 million.

Verizon Netherlands’ largest revenues source is providing services to enterprise customers with EUR 138.5 million, dropping 6 percent compared with 2015. Revenues from wholesale services grew slightly to EUR 4.7 million. The annual report also shows that 89 percent of the revenues were generated in the Netherlands, three percentage point less than in 2015. The revenues from the Netherlands decreased 8.8 percent to EUR 127.4 million.
