Verizon picks Fujitsu as preferred supplier for CPRI, eCPRI, Ethernet multiplexing fronthaul technology

Fujitsu Network Communications announced that Verizon selected Fujitsu as a preferred supplier of CPRI, eCPRI and Ethernet multiplexing fronthaul technology. In partnership with HFR Networks, the Fujitsu platform works across Verizon's existing network infrastructure to reduce deployment and operational costs while simultaneously supporting 4G and 5G services. The Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) platform provided by Fujitsu and HFR Networks makes a more efficient and lower cost centralised (CRAN) Hubbing of 4G CPRI traffic using standards-based RoE (Radio Over Ethernet) along with eCPRI and
