Friday 25 October 2019 | 14:59 CET | News
Verizon said revenues for the third quarter rose 0.9 percent from the year earlier to USD 32.9 billion, helped by higher revenues at mobile, partially offset by lower mobile equipment revenue and declines in legacy wireline revenue, mainly in the Business segment. Earnings per share for the quarter lifted to USD 1.25 from 1.19, while adjusted EPS advanced to USD 1.25 from 1.22. The adjusted EBITDA amounted to USD 12 billion while the net profit improved gently to USD 5.3 billion from 5.0 billion. Year-to-date capex amounted to 12.3 billion. Year-to-date debt was reduced by USD 3.5 billion.
