Verizon sees Super Bowl mobile data traffic more than double

Verizon Wireless said it handled over 25 million mobile data connections at the Super Bowl stadium duing the game. Immediately before, during and after the game in Arizona, Verizon customers generated 4.1 terabytes of data, more than double the 1.9 terabytes during the 2014 Super Bowl. Verizon quadrupled its LTE data capacity at the stadium prior to the match and at major venues throughout metro Phoenix. The operator built cell sites, small cell systems, indoor and outdoor Distributed Antenna Systems and planned deployment of mobile cell sites. Its also introduced its XLTE technology to add
