Verizon starts debt securities exchange offer for up to USD 4 bln worth of new notes

Verizon Communications said it has started the exchange of 19 outstanding series of debt securities for up to USD 4 billion of new notes. The new notes will mature on 3 December 2029 and will bear an interest rate per year equal to the sum of the yield of the 2.625 percent US Treasury Security due 15 February 2029, plus 130 basis points. The exchange offers will expire just before midnight, Eastern time, on 8 March.
