Verizon to offer HBO Now

Verizon announced an agreement to distribute HBO's internet-only subscription service. HBO Now will be available to Verizon's over 100 million mobile customers and its standalone broadband customers. They can test it now in a 30-day free trial. A subscription for non-Fios TV customers will cost USD 14.99 per month, while Fios TV customers will still be required to subscribe to the standard HBO channel package, which includes the HBO Go app for mobile access. HBO content will also be available on Verizon's upcoming mobile video platform.
