Verne Global picks Level 3 to deploy IP POP in Iceland

Verne Global, a UK developer of energy-efficient data centres, has selected Level 3 Communications to implement an Internet Protocol-driven Point-of-Presence (PoP) in Iceland. Level 3 served customers with Content Delivery Network (CDN) services via Reykjavik, but did not have an existing IP-driven PoP connecting to its global network in Iceland. This led both companies to explore how to connect the Level3 infrastructure to Verne Global's data centre campus.
