Vero Internet invests BRL 15 million into fibre backbone

Vero Internet is investing BRL 15 million into a dedicated high capacity backbone, with 4 Tbps of transmission capacity, reports Telesintese. From October, the operator will own a 1,417 km regional and national long distance fibre optic network. It will connect all 53 cities served in the state of Minas Gerais to the main content generators, datacentres and suppliers in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
