Viacom signs Spanish distribution deals

Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) Spain has reached a series of non-exclusive deals with leading pay-TV providers to expand its presence in Spain. VIMN said it has signed agreements with Movistar TV, Ono, Canal+, Euskaltel and Telecable to add VIMN brands to their pay TV offer. Telefonica's Movistar TV platform will add MTV and Nick Jr. to its portfolio, while Telecable recently added MTV and Nickelodeon HD to its content. Finally, VIMN said the HD kids brand is now available on Canal+ and the pay-TV platforms of Ono and Euskaltel, to be followed shortly by those of Orange and R.
