Viasat World expands content offering through new contract with ViacomCBS

Broadaster Viasat World has announced a new two-year licensing agreement with ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group, which will increase the amount of content on the Viasat TV channels and ViP Play OTT service available in Russia and CIS countries by 20 percent. The major agreement will bring Viasat TV channels and ViP Play over 150 hours of new content from Paramount Pictures, including popular films and recent theatrical blockbusters.   

Under the new deal, Viasat World will have access to more than 90 movies from Paramount Pictures, including recent hits that will be exclusively shown on the Viasat TV channels. Viewers will be able to enjoy films such as Gemini Man, Rocketman, the Mission: Impossible film franchise, and more.
