Video consumption via mobile devices unchanged in Q2 - Ooyala

Global video consumption on mobile devices was flat year-on-year in the second quarter, according to Ooyala's Global Video Index for Q2. Mobile viewing is still the major driver for OTT growth across all regions, although Asia Pacific uses it most (72%), followed by North America (around 50%). EMEA saw the highest percentage of tablet plays (12.6%), followed by Asia Pacific (around 14).
