Videofutur, Alsatis tie up for public initiative networks

French VoD company Videofutur, a Netgem subsidiary, has tied up with ISP Alsatis to offer La Fibre VideoFutur, an internet and TV plan over FttH public initiative networks, reports Echos du Net. At EUR 39.90 a month, the triple-play plan provides up to 200 Mbps internet access, unlimited VoIP calls to France and fixed numbers in 50 countries, TV and unlimited access to FilmoTV's movie catalogue. The service uses a new VideoFutur box featuring a new interface, 1 GB of RAM and offers support for HTML 5 apps. Videofutur has doubled its TV line up by adding 30 local and international channels. he
