Videofutur details Covid-19 actions, sees 50% rise in usage on IPTV platform

French IPTV platform Videofutur, part of Netgem, said that its base of TV customers and 300,000 VoD subscribers are consuming more content than ever during the Covid-19 lockdown, with usage increasing by over 50 percent across movies and children-focused programmes. The daily audience of news channels has risen 100 percent, while the overall time spent watching TV has gone up 30 percent, representing more than 6 hours of viewing time per day.
