Vienna court rules some of A1's Bob clauses impermissible

The Austrian consumer association VKI said Vienna Higher Court has ruled that 22 clauses in contracts issued by A1 Telekom Austria's subsidiary Bob are impermissible. For instance, the default interest rate of 12 percent, or at least 3 percent over the central bank base rate, is prejudicial and ineffective, especially as A1 pays a maximum of 4 percent to customers. It also said customers should not have to expect an 'extraordinary termination' to be time-limited.
