Viettel launches cable TV service powered by Ericsson

Vietnamese state-owned operator Viettel is deploying the Ericsson Multi-platform Video Processing service with the Ericsson AVP 4000 system encoder to enable the delivery of cable TV alongside its existing IPTV services. Under the terms of the contract, Ericsson will be in charge of design, supply and systems integration, as well as commissioning and support of Viettel's ecosystem.
