Virgin ends 2013 with 3.2 million superfast broadband users

Virgin Media added 36,000 cable service subscriptions in Q4 2013 to reach a total of 12.3 million, with cable customers up 20,000 in Q4 to 4.9 million. Average revenue per customer was up GBP 1.16 in 2013 to GBP 48.21. The number of 30 Mbps+ broadband subscribers grew by 209,000 in Q4 and by one million over the 12 months to reach 3.2 million, or 74 percent of all 4.4 million broadband subscribers. Total broadband subscribers were up by 39,000 in Q4 and 104,000 over the 12 months. TiVo subscribers increased by 137,000 in Q4 and by 629,000 in 2013 to reach 2 million, or 52 percent of all 3.7
