Virgin extends Wi-Fi services to 100 more LU stations

Transport for London (TfL) and Virgin Media have expanded ultrafast Wi-Fi connectivity to almost all London Underground stations. The service has now been installed at 100 more stations, bringing the total of 250. The service launched in 2012 and supports speeds of more than 100 Mbps. Virgin Media's data shows 20 TB of data is now consumed on average each day on the London Underground Wi-Fi network, up from 3 TB a day over the last 12 months.
