Virgin Ireland taps Farrell for new sales, marketing VP role

Virgin Media Ireland has appointed Paul Farrell as vice president of sales and marketing with effect from July. He will take a position on the executive board and report directly to CEO Tony Hanway. Farrell joins Virgin Media from Davy where he was director of brand and strategy with responsibility for evolving the business "from its stockbroking roots to a holistic wealth management provider". Prior roles took him to the US, UK and elsewhere in Europe for a range of employers.
