Virgin Media Ireland offers parental internet safety classes

Virgin Media Ireland has announced a 3-year partnership with the National Parent's Council (NPC) to provide internet safety classes for parents of primary schoolchildren across Ireland. The announcement was made to celebrate Safer Internet Day 2016. The first series of classes will take place in Counties Cork, Donegal, Dublin, Galway, Limerick, Louth, Offaly, Sligo, Tipperary and Wexford. Virgin Media has also launched a new online resource pack called The Web We Want for teachers at www.webwewant.eu. This offers training guides designed by teachers for teachers which include 10 ready-to-use
