Virgin Media offers big discounts on 50 Mbps, 152 Mbps plans

UK cable operator Virgin Media is discounting its 50 Mbps Big Connection package and 152 Mbps Big Kahuna bundle for GBP 8.75 and GBP 33 a month for the first year, respectively, rising to GBP 17.50 and GBP 49 for the remainder of the 18-month contract. The promotion is available until the end of March. Customers must also pay GBP 16.99 a month for line rental, or GBP 13.66 a month if paid a year in advance. The Big Connection package offers 3 Mbps uploads, unlimited usage, unlimited weekend calls to UK landlines, Virgin Mobile numbers and 0870 numbers, SuperHub router, Web Safe internet
