Virgin starts charging for London Underground WiFi service

Virgin Media has confirmed free WiFi on the London Underground is ending. From 29 January, passengers will be able to buy a day pass for GBP 2, a weekly pass for GBP 5 and a monthly pass for GBP 15. Passengers buying a monthly WiFi pass in February will get three months access for the price of one. All Tube passengers will continue to have free access to Virgin Media's WiFi portal, with the latest Transport for London (TfL) travel updates and London entertainment and news. Why not use free Wi-Fi hotspots? Today you can find free WiFi almost at every corner. For finding a free hotspot there are several Apps available or you can search on online portals like www.shareair.net
