Virgin, TiVo test next-generation network DVR

Virgin Media and TiVo are working on the cable operator's next-generation set-top box, cableforum.co.uk reports. The Network Digital Video Recorder (nDVR) will allow users to store their own recordings on the network. TiVo is showing a prototype of the new box at CES. Jeff Klugman, TiVo's Executive Vice President of Product and Revenue, said that Virgin was participating in a 'fairly small trial'.
