Vivendi names Yannick Bollore as chairman of supervisory board

Vincent Bollore has decided to step down from his role as chairman of Vivendi's supervisory board, with the position now filled by his son Yannick Bollore (chairmain and CEO of subsidiary Havas). The announcement follows a similar move at Vivendi's Canal Plus subsidiary earlier this month, when the broadcaster announced that Vincent Bollore had been replaced as chairman by Jean-Christophe Thiery, while remaining a member of the supervisory board.
