Vivendi sells its last 5.7 percent of Activision Blizzard

Vivendi has unwound the hedge on its remaining 41.5 million shares in video game publisher Activision Blizzard. It has sold the 5.7 percent stake to an unnamed financial institution for approximately USD 1.1 billion in net proceeds. The unwinding of this hedge allows Vivendi to recover a cash deposit of US USD 400 million. Vivendi said the decision was taken in view of the evolution of the Activision Blizzard stock price.
