Vivendi subsidiary secures FTTH licence in Gabon

Vivendi's subsidiary GVA (Group Vivendi Africa) has secured a licence to provide FTTH services in Gabon, reports Gabon Media Time. The company is ready to start deploying an aerial fibre access network in selected areas of Gabon's capital Libreville, promising to offer attractively priced services to households and businesses. GVA's sister company Canal Plus Gabon has welcomed the arrival of fibre connectivity, which will enable to offer on-demand TV services to eligible customers over the new network. Other partners in the project include Axione, Spin and Gabon's power and water
