Vivendi subsidiary to start roll-out of fibre network in Gabon capital

Vivendi's subsidiary GVA (Group Vivendi Africa) will shortly begin rolling out an aerial fibre access network in selected areas of Gabon's capital Libreville, reports Gabon Review. The start of the deployment, expected in the coming days, follows the signature of an agreement between GVA, Veolia's subsidiary SEEG (Societe d'Energie et d'Eau du Gabon) and Gabon's ministry of water and electricity on 18 August.
