Vivo Empresas launches 4G IoT project in bioenergy sector

Telefonica Brasil's B2B business unit, Vivo Empresas, has launched a 4G connectivity project for IoT applications for Brazilian bioenergy producer UISA, reports Teletime. The project will be take place at Guanabara Farm in the state of Mato Grosso, on an area of over 88,000 hectares. In addition to the 4G network, the connection infrastructure includes NB-IoT and LTE-M networks, as support for various IoT applications, ranging from climate sensing to agricultural telemetry.
