Vivo sets new quarterly record for FTTH additions

Brazilian operator Vivo set a new quarterly record for FTTH additions during the first quarter of 2021, according to data provided by company management during a conference call with analysts. According to CEO Christian Gebara, 368,000 clients were added to the FTTH base, a 1.5x jump on Q4 2020 additions and 2.1x more than in Q1 2020, reports Telesintese.
