Wednesday 8 May 2013 | 12:49 CET | News
Brazilian mobile telephony operator Vivo promises to expand its 4G services to more than another 60 cities by the end of the year. This will include coverage of places required by Anatel in December 2013, which comprise the host and sub-host cities of the World Cup men's soccer tournament. Most of the cities Vivo plans to serve are concentrated in the state of Sao Paulo, says the CEO of Telefonica/Vivo, Paulo Cesar Teixeira. Vivo launched its 4G service last week and the new network is now present in seven cities.
