VMware appoints head of R&D centre in India

Cloud infrastructure and business mobility company VMware has appointed Ramkumar Narayanan as head of its R&D centre in India. Narayanan will take up the role of vice-president and managing site director, India, The Economic Times reports. Prior to joining VMware, Narayanan served as general manager of the eBay Product Development Center in India and Global Head of Monetisation Products for eBay. Prior to joining eBay, Narayanan was VP of Global Product Management at Yahoo.
