VMware starts beta Kubernetes-as-a-service offering

VMware announced the start of a public beta of VMware Kubernetes Engine, a Kubernetes-as-a-Service offering in the VMware Cloud Services portfolio. These SaaS-based offerings are designed to help with operations across clouds, and the Kubernetes service will first be available with Amazon Web Services. In the future, VMware will also support VKE on Azure and additional cloud environments, it said.
