VNPT launches e-payment services

Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) has launched two electronic payment services. Subsidiary Vietnam Data Communication (VDC) has launched an online payment service called iCoin. Customers can use the e-wallet to pay for VNPT or partner services and goods. The service allows users to top-up the e-wallet mobile (Mobifone and Vinaphone) top-up cards, bank account (e-banking services), SMS, post office, and postpaid invoice. The exchange rate is 100 VND for 1 coin. Initially, iCoin can be used for payments on the Megaplus online portal and Buyme portal as well as some partner
