VNPT's 9-month profit jumps 12%, revenue grows 6%

Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) reports that, in the first nine months of the year, its profit reached nearly VND 3.57 trillion, which accounts for 75.2 percent of the group's annual plan. The figure represents an increase of 12.5 percent year-on-year. Consolidated revenue for the 9-month period increased by 6.5 percent compared to the same period of 2016. In the 9-month period, VNPT added 645,000 new subscribers, which represents an increase of 49.7 percent year-on-year.
