Vodacom becomes Amazon Web Services customer and reseller

Vodacom Group has announced that it will become a customer of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and a reseller of its services, ITWeb reported. Vodacom group CEO Shameel Joosub said at the annual results presentation that the AWS partnership means MTN will move more services into the cloud, which will improve efficiency. The partnership also allows subscribers to do a lot more with the data, in terms of the analytics and so on.
